Jennifer Genua-McDaniel is a nationally recognized leader in community health center governance, compliance, and operational strategy. As Founder and CEO of Genua Consulting, she partners with Community Health Centers across the country — including the Pacific Islands — to strengthen governance, stabilize operations, and navigate the complexities of federal program requirements.
Her career spans executive leadership, federal consulting, and statewide association work. Jennifer has served as CEO of federally qualified health centers and Look-alikes, Interim CEO during periods of transition, and Deputy Director of the Health Center Association of Nebraska, where she led statewide training and technical assistance initiatives. She has supported organizations seeking Look-A-Like designation, guided health centers through Operational Site Visits, and helped distressed clinics regain stability and financial footing.
Jennifer’s journey began when she left her native Canada to serve as a health educator in rural Missouri — an experience that shaped her lifelong commitment to expanding access to care. She works with health centers because they serve communities others often overlook, ensuring patients receive care when and where they need it most.
At her core, Jennifer is a problem solver and team builder who believes strong governance and thoughtful leadership create the foundation for thriving communities.
